Metal Gear Solid - To Cause Sensation Among the Gaming Community

A game soon to be launched (June 12) is already causing great sensation among the gaming community, Metal Gear Solid 4 is already being called one of the most realistic and breathtaking battlefields you can find anywhere, anytime. The main character of the game, the one that the player will be controlling is called "Old Snake" or "Snake" for short, he is a grumpy, old but extremely agile genetically engineered soldier who is sent to the middle east in order to terminate his rival Liquid Ocelot. Liquid controls a company which is called Outer Heaven that at the same time serves as a proxy in order to manipulate the five largest private military companies that fight wars in order to create a profit.

Getting to your ultimate enemy will prove to be very difficult to because there are several proxies that you need to defeat before you get to the real villain, luckily for Snake and the player there will be a small metal gear unit that is intelligent and very useful which will a company the main character every step of the way.

Snake is not the only genetically engineered being in the game, there are two more characters who shared the same characteristics as Snake and it turned out to be his enemies, they are called Ocelot and Solidus. The player will also have to explore the possibilities of one of these enemies carrying stronger genes than those used to engineer Snake.

Some of the technologies which are implemented in the game include optical camouflage (referred to as octocamo) which allows Snake to blend with any surface, as you may know this technology was first featured in the animation ghost in the Shell, at least for this type of battle situation. Another great addition is the "solid eye" which provides a great deal of details about the terrain and the computer desk manufacturer geographical position of enemy. With so much action and high-tech devices players will be literally busy for weeks at a time.
